THE DEALBRAMBLE PATCH

Privacy information

DealBramble is an independent UK deals website. This page explains how information is used when you browse or contact us.

Your analytics choice

Google Analytics is optional. It stays off until you choose Accept analytics. Rejecting it does not affect browsing or retailer links. Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept or withdraw your choice at any time.

We remember either choice in your browser’s local storage for 180 days. This preference is used only to remember your decision. If storage is unavailable, your choice applies to the current page and you may be asked again.

When you accept analytics

Google Analytics helps us understand page visits, where visitors arrive from, device and browser information, approximate location and clicks through to retailers. This helps us improve the website and choose useful offers. Google receives technical information, including your IP address, when the tag communicates with its service.

Analytics cookies named _ga and _ga_… distinguish browsers and sessions. We configure these cookies for up to 180 days. We do not send names, email addresses or the text you type into our search box as analytics fields. Page query strings and fragments are omitted from the page details we send.

Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in our website tag. We use analytics to understand the website, not to build advertising audiences. Google may process information outside the UK. Read Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner sites for more information.

Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection on this browser, removes the Analytics cookies set by this site and reloads the page. It does not undo information already collected. A different browser or device has its own choice.

Saved deals and sharing

When you choose Save, we store the deal’s identifier in this browser’s local storage to remember your shortlist. It stays on this device until you remove it or clear browser data, and is not sent to us or used for advertising. This feature works without accepting analytics. Share uses your device’s sharing options, or copies the public deal link to your clipboard when supported.

Browsing and hosting

Cloudflare hosts and protects the website and processes technical request information to provide those services. Product and hotel photos may load from retailer or image-provider servers, which receive your IP address and browser request information. These image requests do not include the address of the DealBramble page you are viewing.

Contacting us

If you email hello@dealbramble.co.uk, your email address and message are used to handle your enquiry. Messages are routed through Cloudflare to our email inbox provider. Please avoid including sensitive information. Contact the same address with privacy questions or requests about correspondence you have sent us.

Retailer links

Retailer links take you to an external website with its own privacy and cookie choices. Links labelled Ad may pass through an affiliate network that processes referral information. DealBramble does not add affiliate-network tracking scripts or advertising cookies to this site.
